
The Fresno State women's basketball team beat USC 65-60 Wednesday night in a non-conference game at the Save Mart Center.
Taylor Thompson scored 20 points for the Bulldogs, while Ki-Ki Moore added 15.
Fresno State used a 14-0 scoring blitz to take a 13 point halftime lead. The Bulldogs went up by as many as 25 points in the second half, and then held off a furious rally by the Trojans.
USC cut the deficit to three in the final seconds, but Fresno State held on for the victory, improving to 5-2 on the year.
