Walmart and the Salvation Army are teaming up to provide new toys and coats for local children.
The "Fill the Truck" Toy Drive will be held on Saturday, December 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Walmart locations across the Central Valley.
In addition, bell ringers with red kettles will be on hand through December 24 to collect funds for the Salvation Army's programs.
"The Salvation Army is excited to partner with Walmart. Each year, Walmart is there to help us meet demands and provide a special Christmas to families and individuals who may not otherwise have a Christmas to celebrate," said Captain Dwaine Breazeale, of the Salvation Army.
