Man Shot In Orange Cove; Gunman On The Loose

ORANGE COVE, Calif. (KMPH) -

A man was shot in Orange Cove Tuesday evening, and the shooter is still on the loose.

The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. near Anchor Avenue and B Street.

Neighbors say they heard gunshots and then found a man lying on the sidewalk.

Police say the 20-year-old was hit with several bullets.

Emergency crews flew him to a hospital. His condition is not known.

Detectives say they don't know why the man was shot or who pulled the trigger.
