FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
A Tulare girl who we introduced back in May has received a donor heart.
Six-year-old Annalyce Ficher is recuperating at Stanford where the transplant surgery took place on Tuesday.
Her grandfather tells KMPH News that Annalyce remains in intensive care, but doctors are pleased with her recovery.
She was born with a bad heart, and after three open heart surgeries, doctors said she needed a new one to survive.
