Girl Escapes Kidnapping Attempt In Selma

SELMA, Calif. (KMPH) -

Selma Police are on the lookout for two men who tried to kidnap a girl on her way to Abraham Middle School.

It happened at Pine and Locust streets around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

The girl says two men in a van pulled up next to her. One of them got out and tried to pull her in. She was able to wrestle away from him and ran for help.

Police are looking for an older model blue and white van, not a mini van, with a blue air conditioning unit.
