Police hope surveillance photos will help them catch a man accused of robbing a Northeast Fresno bank over the weekend.
Fresno Police say a man walked into the Wells Fargo branch on Cedar near Herndon around 3:30 p.m. Saturday and handed a teller a note demanding money. They say he got an undisclosed amount of cash and ran away.
According to investigators, the man told bank employees he had a gun, though none was seen.
The suspect is described as being 50 to 55 years old, 5'10" tall, with a muscular build. He was wearing a bushy wig, gold-rimmed glasses, a blue sweatshirt and gray pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call Fresno Police at (559) 621-7000 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to the suspect's arrest.
