Wyoming Won't Catch 'Dogs Sleeping

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Wyoming will face Fresno State as a heavy underdog Saturday. But the Bulldogs will not underestimate the Cowboys.

Wyoming has lost five of its six games this season. Head coach Dave Christensen believes his team is improving, but needs to get more production on offense while playing better against the run on defense.

The Cowboys got everybody's attention when they took Nevada to overtime in Reno before losing.

That effort was not lost on Fresno State head coach Tim DeRuyter, who expects to face the same kind of game from Wyoming Saturday night at Bulldog Stadium.

Despite a 20-10 loss at Boise State last Saturday, DeRuyter hopes fans will come out to support his team against the Cowboys.
