PGA Tour pro Kevin Chappell returned home Monday to spend some time at Children's Hospital Central California.
It is a cause the Valley native believes in, so Chappell thought it would be great to give the kids a break from the everyday challenges they face. And he did that by teaching them a little bit about the game he loves.
Chappell, a graduate of Buchanan High School who went on to help lead UCLA to an NCAA Championship, is now enjoying some success on the PGA Tour. And he has created a foundation to benefit the kids at Children's Hospital.
Chappell got the idea because he has family and friends who have been helped by Children's Hospital, and now he wants to do something in return.
