Wanted: Man Accused Of Shooting, Killing Store Clerk

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man accused of killing a popular Fresno store clerk.

Fresno Police have identified Dwayne Dodson, 35, as the shooter in Thursday night's botched robbery at the Super 1 convenience store.

Kashmir Manes, 45, was shot and killed while working inside the store on Tulare and 7th Street.

Police say Dodson is a gang member and a discharged parolee who should be considered armed and dangerous.

Officers say they have not been able to find the gun used in the shooting.

On Friday, police arrested Christopher Roberts. They say he also tried to rob the store with Dodson, and he's the one who beat a second clerk with a metal object. That worker is recovering.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
