Big Fresno Fair: Concert Series, Performer Contest

The Big Fresno Fair has announced its concert lineup for this year:

Big Fair Fans can buy tickets online starting Monday, July 30. Plus, Big Fair Fan Club members will receive 50% off a single admission ticket with each concert ticket purchased in the same transaction. Offer online only. All you have to do to become a BFF and get your tickets first is sign up here.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 6 at 9 a.m. online, at the Fair's Ticket Box Office or by calling (559) 650-FAIR.

LOCAL PERFORMER CONTEST

A total of six local performers will take to the stage as part of the 3rd Annual Local Performer Contest that will showcase local music artists on Thursday, October 4 from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. on the Pavilion Stage at the 2012 Big Fresno Fair.

This competition invited local musicians, singers, or bands from throughout Merced, Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare and Kern counties to upload their music video online for their chance to take the stage! Click here to see all the videos that have been submitted for this competition and decide who you want to see live at the 2012 Big Fresno Fair.

Two public voting phases will decide the final six local performers that have the chance to perform at the 2012 Big Fresno Fair during the 3rd Annual Local Performer Contest.

Voting Phase 1 (narrows group down to 25 performers): July 17 – August 6
Voting Phase 2 (decides final 6 performers): August 10 – September 4

    Police are looking for the vandal that left the walls and front door of a northwest Fresno church spray painted.
