FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Fresno Police have arrested a man they say robbed two people of their cell phones after he answered their Craigslist ads.
19-year-old Nathan Siqueiros was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier this month, two people posted ads for their cell phones on Craigslist. Police say Siqueiros met up with both sellers, simulated having a weapon, and took off with their phones.
Detectives say they were able to catch up with Siqueiros after tracking the phone that he used to call the victims. They say he admitted to both thefts.
Siqueiros was booked into the Fresno County Jail. He faces charges of grand theft and robbery.
If you're planning to sell something online, police say you should stay alert and meet at a safe location.
