FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
California is the country's most disliked state, according to a new poll by Public Policy Polling, a national polling firm owned by the national Democratic Party.
According to the poll, 44% of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of California, with only 27% having a favorable opinion.
Hawaii was the most liked state in the poll.
The poll says far more Democrats have a favorable opinion of California than do Republicans, while more Republicans like Texas than do Democrats.
