Wheelchair Hit And Run: Woman Hurt

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that threw a woman from a wheelchair in the middle of the street.

It happened Tuesday night on Blackstone near Michigan.

Witnesses tell KMPH the woman has been homeless for about a year.

Emergency crews rushed her to the hospital and she's going to be all right.

Witnesses also say the area is well–lit, but is not a crosswalk.
