MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -
Two men are lucky to be alive after a small plane they were flying in crashed in Mariposa County.
It happened around 2 p.m. Tuesday in the area of White Rock Road and Beach Road.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the homebuilt plane had smoke in the cockpit and had to make an emergency landing in a pasture.
The plane caught fire and scorched about two acres.
Neither of the two men on board was hurt.
