$15 Or Free Case: Apple Settles iPhone 4 Antenna Lawsuit

Posted:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Apple has settled a class-action lawsuit, promising to pay $15 or give a free case to everyone in the U.S. who bought an iPhone 4 and had antenna problems.

The iPhone 4 was released in June 2010 and became a huge seller. Soon after, some complained that their phone frequently dropped voice calls.

The problem was later determined to be the antenna.

Eligible customers should get an email from Apple some time in April. They'll then have 120 days to apply for the $15.

CNN contributed to this report.
