Huge Fire Roars Through Selma Building

SELMA, Calif. (KMPH) -

Intense flames lit up the night over the city of Selma Wednesday.

The fire started at an abandoned building, on Whitson near Floral, just after 5:30 p.m.

Every fire team in the city scrambled to fight the inferno.

Firefighters finally doused the flames about 45 minutes later.

Investigators don't yet know what started it.

Thankfully, no one was hurt.

The Fresno Grizzlies fell to another late Albuquerque Tuesday night in an 8-7 loss to the Isotopes.

Albuquerque carried a 6-0 lead into the top of the sixth inning when the Grizzlies rallied to score six times. Juan Ciriaco had the big hit for Fresno. His bases loaded double drove in three runs.

But the Isotopes snapped a 7-7 tie in the eighth on a run scoring single by Joe Becker.

Fresno falls to 30-15.More >>
