The Fresno Christian High School boy's basketball team had a 19-game winning streak put to the test Friday night. The Eagles, with an overall record of 20-1, had to come from behind to beat West Sequoia League rival Caruthers in an overtime thriller, 59-56.
Meanwhile, there was an upset in the Tri-River Athletic Conference. Clovis West manhandled rival Buchanan in a 58-37 rout. That drops the Bears into a first place tie with Central in the TRAC. Both schools are 6-2 in league play with two games left in the regular season.
