FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
More than 40 firefighters battled a huge fire at an abandoned warehouse in West Fresno Monday evening.
Crews were called to the area of Nielsen and Marks just after 5 p.m.
The fire burned the majority of the 15,000-square-foot building. Firefighters say it was once a cotton processing plant.
It's not known how the fire started, but investigators say it appears "suspicious" because there have been several break-ins reported in the area.
Damage is estimated at $110,000.
