FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Thousands of infant bodysuits are being recalled because they have snaps that can detach, posing a choking hazard to infants and young children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said.

The recall affects about 128,000 Carter's Watch the Wear Bodysuits and Sleep 'n Play Garments, which were manufactured by Weeplay Kids.

Company officials say they have received 30 reports of snaps detaching from the clothing. No injuries have been reported.

The baby clothes were sold in packages of two, three, or five at several stores nationwide -- including Big Lots, DD's Discount and Ross -- from November 2010 through August 2011.

Free replacements are being offered. For more information, contact Weeplay at (888) 226-2200 or visit www.cpsc.gov.
