The Fresno State softball team opens a new season on February 9th, hosting Toledo.

The Bulldogs have a chance to get off to a fast start when you consider they are playing their first ten games at home.

The motivation is to get beyond the Regionals for the first time since 1999, which was Fresno State's last trip to the College World Series.

This will also be the school's final season in the Western Athletic Conference, and Fresno State hopes to go out with a bang by winning the WAC championship.
