FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

15-year-old Lemoore High School sophomore Marisol Lopez hopes to be the next great boxer to come out of the Central Valley.

Since losing her first fight, Lopez has gone 13-1. Fighting out of the Avenal Boxing Club, Marisol has won a Junior Olympics Championship, a regional Silver Gloves crown, and a State Championship.

Her father, Sergio, also serves as her trainer. Their ultimate goal is to see her box for the United States in the 2016 Olympic Summer Games in Brazil.

One of Marisol's biggest supporters is a fellow member of the Avenal Boxing Club, Jose Ramirez, who hopes to represent the U.S. in the 2012 Olympics.
