From Colts To Bears? Former Fresnan A Candidate In Chicago

Posted:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

The firing of Jim Caldwell as Colts' head coach impacts former Fresnan Clyde Christensen, who is the team's offensive coordinator. His status is up in the air, but Christensen has options.

The Chicago Bears will reportedly interview him for their offensive coordinator's job. He was a candidate there in 2010. Christensen has a long relationship with Bears' head coach Lovie Smith, dating back to when both were assistants under Tony Dungy at Tampa Bay.

Christensen has been on the Colts' coaching staff for the last ten years.

He played quarterback at Fresno City College in the 1970's. Christensen's parents, Dick and June, still live in Fresno.
