FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Target has announced it plans to open Apple outlets in some of its stores later this year. That's according to the tech blog AppleInsider.
Apple currently operates a store within a store at more than 600 Best Buy locations with Apple Shops.
The Apple brand first appeared in Target in 2002 -- that's when the company began selling its iPod in all Target stores.
Target also became the first retailer outside of Apple and Best Buy to begin selling the iPad in 2010.
