
Life provides us many opportunities to feel joy. However, the same can be said for life providing an opportunity to be hurt. And often when others hurt us, we can carry that pain for years.
Marriage and family therapist Paul Mavrogeorge joined us on Great Day Monday morning to discuss the importance of forgiveness.
Paul offers these tips:
-Forgiveness is a choice
-Make a list of all who have wronged you
-Identify the behavior that caused harm
-Identify how you were impacted
-Identify your part in what happened
-Write out a forgiveness statement
-Read letter every day for one week
