KERMAN, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested two men in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Marcus Lynn Snowden.

21-year-old Manuel Ray Villareal and 24-year-old David Magallon Jr. were arrested Friday in Kerman.

On October 22, 2011, Snowden's body was found near the intersection of 8th and Sunset in Kerman. Investigators say he was stabbed to death after an argument at a nearby home.

Last month, Sheriff Margaret Mims and members of Snowden's family held a news conference asking for the public's help in solving the murder.

Investigators say Snowden was not involved in gangs, but they believe Villareal and Magallon are gang members.

Both men were booked into the Fresno County Jail on murder charges.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the sheriff's office at (559) 488-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867).
