$1.7 Million Jackpot: Hanford Woman Wins Big at Chukchansi

COARSEGOLD, Calif. (KMPH) -

A Hanford woman became a millionaire on New Year's Day.

55-year-old Sherry D. hit a near $1.7 million jackpot on the Megabucks Wolf Run progressive slot machine at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino on January 1.

Casino officials say Sherry won all that cash after only a short time of play.

Sherry says she and her husband will continue working despite hitting the jackpot.
