On Saturday, it is Washington Union's turn in the spotlight. The Panthers play Campolindo in the Division-III state championship game at noon at the Home Depot Center.
And they got quite a sendoff Friday morning as students, faculty and administrators braved the cold and fog to show their support.

Washington Union caps off a perfect (14–0) season with the Central Section's first ever State Title, 21–16, over Campolindo High School of Maraga, CA.
The Panthers have now won 22 straight games, dating back to last season.
Notre Dame commit, Deontay Greenberry, got the scoring started for WUHS with an incredible catch, going up between two defenders to bring in the touchdown. He also had an interception and recovered the game sealing onside kick.
Quarterback Chris Cain had 2 rushing touchdowns and the throwing score to Greenberry.
Donald Phelps had over 180 yards rushing and an interception.
