FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -
Washington Union made history when the football team was selected to play in the Division III State Championship game. Not only the first time in school history, but the first time a Central section school has been selected.
The Panthers practiced for the final time at home before leaving Friday morning to Carson, California and the Home Depot Center.
The Panthers are a perfect (13–0) on the season, and have won 21 straight games, dating back to 2010. Undefeated Campolindo and undefeated Washington Union, Saturday at noon. KMPH will have highlights at 10:00 p.m.
