Our performing arts correspondent Dean Rhodus joined us on Great Day with his review of Stageworks Fresno's production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

THE BEST BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER

I started out thinking I had really wandered into a church production, a throw back to the 50's attitudinally and visually and aurally. This was going to be a long hour and fifteen minutes. I left feeling as though my life had passed before my eyes, and did it need to go by so quickly.

At the time of this writing, the moment has passed, the show being played only from December 7^th through the 11^th. I still wanted to get on record saying that Stageworks Fresno continues to do exemplary work and its artistic director, directors, vocal coaches, technicians, as well as the talent being drawn to this company, are soooo worth (sorry about the vernacularism) our time, effort and expenditure.
