Former boxer and nutrition expert Jenifer Alcorn joined us on Great Day to discuss healthy options for your Thanksgiving meal.

-Eat breakfast

-Use low sodium chicken broth in your stuffing

-Use a tablespoon to serve yourself instead of a ladle

-Remove the skin

-Make your favorite pumpkin pie filling in small ramekins

-Choose a simple potato

-Take a 30-minute walk after eating, instead of a nap

-Use smaller plates and bowls for portion control

-Distribute leftovers to relatives

-Avoid seconds
