Tim Skipper spent a lot of time looking at Fresno State game tapes on Monday, his first full day as the Bulldogs interim defensive coordinator.

It couldn't have been pretty, since he is taking over a unit that statistically ranks among the worst in college football.

The position opened Sunday night when Randy Stewart stepped down in his tenth season on Pat Hill's staff.
