Knockout Nutrition: Lowering Your Cholesterol

Updated: Nov 09, 2011 3:57 PM PST

Former boxer and nutrition expert Jenifer Alcorn joined us on Great Day to talk about the foods that can help lower your cholesterol.

Jenifer says eating plenty of fiber-rich foods, like vegetables and grains, can help improve your cholesterol levels. She also suggests that fatty foods -- like cheese and eggs -- should be eaten in moderation.

Remember to consult your physician before starting any new diet or fitness program.

If you ever have a question or comment for Jenifer, email us at GreatDay@kmph.com.
