Do you find yourself feeling hungry in the middle of the night?
Former boxer and nutrition expert Jenifer Alcorn joined us on Great Day Wednesday morning to talk about how you can cure that midnight snack attack.
Jenifer says you might want to try a glass of water.
To help prevent the munchies, she suggests eating something very light and easy to digest before going to bed. Fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, half of a turkey sandwich, and even a bowl of soup might work.
Smoothies made with milk or soy milk are also a good option.
Jenifer recommends you don't go to bed hungry. You might have trouble falling asleep, or your stomach might start growling in the middle of the night.
