25-year-old acoustic artist Karla Davis stopped by our studios Thursday morning to perform a couple of her songs including "Here I Am" and "Why."

Davis is originally from North Carolina. She was inspired to sing after listening to the choir at her church.

In 2009, Davis and her manager moved to Tennessee to fulfill her dream of becoming a musician.

Karla Davis will be performing in the Valley over the next couple of days.
