"Local Bites" Encourages People to Eat Locally

When you're hungry, and you want to eat out, how do you choose the restaurant?

Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin has created a new initiative called "Local Bites" to promote local eateries.

According to the Local Bites website, Mayor Swearengin will dine out at a local restaurant once a month. You're invited to join her, or create your own Local Bites night.

On Wednesday morning, the owner of Regina's Native Cafe stopped by the Great Day Kitchen to show us some of the delicious food you have to choose from here in Fresno.

Regina's Native Cafe is located at: 7975 N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno. For more information you can call the restaurant at (559) 475-0078.
