Luncheon tickets are open to the public except where noted as "members and guests only."  Credentialed press may cover Luncheons and Newsmakers. Events listed are subject to last-minute changes. Space may be reserved at any NPC Luncheon by calling 202-662-7501. To save time and avoid waiting in line, tickets can be paid for in advance by using a credit card or putting tickets on a house account if there is a credit card on file with the Club. Reservations are not required for Newsmakers, unless otherwise noted.

    An early-morning shooting near Fresno State left a man dead on Monday. Officers were called to an apartment complex on Backer and Shaw around 3:00 a.m. That's where 26-year-old Anthony Marshall Brown was shot, and later died at the hospital.Fresno Police say the shooting does not appear to be gang-related, but add that it wasn't random. Police also say Brown was not a college student. As of Monday night, no one had been arrested.More >>

Fresno County Sheriff's deputies got a call of a body in a field near Shaw and Zediker.Deputies say dove hunters found the body, but they have not been able to identify the person yet. As of Monday night, they also haven't been able to determine whether this isa homicide case.More >>
