One Arrested in Connection with Terra Bella Shooting

Tulare County Sheriff's Deputies have made an arrest in a shooting that sent a teenager to the hospital.

19-year-old George Hernandez was booked into the Porterville Substation on charges of attempted murder and commission of a gang crime, deputies said.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to the area of Road 236 and Avenue 95 in Terra Bella.

Authorities found a teenager with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital and treated for life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the shooting was gang-related.
